Once upon a time there lived an old king. He was very kind to his people, but he had a cruel, proud son. He enjoyed to hurt people. The kind advised his son a lot to become kind, but his son never gave up his cruelty. So the king decided to teach his son. He invited a magician and the magician transformed the young prince into a snake and he said that if the prince make someone happy the spell will be broken. So the prince was very angry and he began to live in the village where very few people lived. He was so angry that he enjoyed frightening people. People was very afraid of him and everybody wanted to kill the snake, but no one dared to do this. The snake lived alone, but one day he saw a little child playing with a ball. When the child saw him he smiled and went next to the snake. The snake also liked him and they played together. One day people knew that the snake was sleeping and they decided to kill him, but when they approached to him the little child made a noise and the snake awoke. So the child saved him. They became friends and the child said him that he had a stepfather and he didn't like him. He drinks wine all day and beats him and his mother. The snake listened to him and decided to help the child. So he found the child's stepfather and frightened him and made him promise to leave the house and never come back. The child was very happy. Their friendship broke the spell. The snake became a handsome prince and he never hurt anybody.
